Bang I hit the floor. My mum had pulled me out of bed and said ¨get dressed for work and get something to eat¨ so I got up and got dressed and went to the kitchen for something to eat. Then I cleaned up and me and my mum went for a drive to work. My mum works in a food van and I work as a cleaner. I don't get paid because I like being with my mum and keeping her company.
Bang! What a great "wow" word to start your story, you captured my attention right from the start. You are a good son to help your mum out like that. What other "wow" words could you add to your story to create a really awesome picture in your readers head?
